A Senior Partner of Defense Solutions, Inc., Jim Donahue joined the firm at its founding in 2001 after holding a series of executive positions in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Defense Solutions, Jim directed the Defense and Aerospace Products Group of ICI Americas, Inc., which designed and manufactured critical ordnance items for both domestic and international customers. While with the Department of the Army, he served with US Army Munitions Command, Frankford Arsenal, where he was the Associate Technical Director, and the US Army Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center, as the Director of the ARDEC Ballistics Laboratory, pursuing research and development programs as well as overseeing the operation of the NATO North American Regional Test Center and the implementation of the precedent setting accords for ammunition standardization, interchangeability and interoperability. His consultant responsibilities have included program and business development, studies and analyses, and Congressional liaison for several major industrial and governmental organizations. Jim was also the first Executive Board Chairman for the TechTrends Conference Series, an annual technology-driven business development conference and exhibition.

Capitalizing on his extensive management experience, for a fifteen year period, Jim served as an adjunct professor in the School of Business Administration at La Salle University.

Jim's career has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the systems and processes that underlie the operations at various levels of government and, in particular, the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. This understanding, combined with his senior leadership experience in both government and industry, will enable him to develop solutions for our clients that are both comprehensive and effective.

Also of benefit to our clients is Jim's active participation in a number of professional organizations, including the Association of the United States Army; the National Defense Industrial Association; the Navy League of the United States; and the National Infantry Association. Jim was also selected to membership in the Global Business Leaders Who's Who.
